Who is responsible
MWG Landscape & Construction is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Privacy enquiries and requests go to mwglandscape@yahoo.ca, or by phone on (905) 240-6694.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, and the details you write about the work you want done. There is no account to create, and we collect nothing else about you as you read the site. Some parts of the page are loaded from other companies, and those companies see your visit.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, quote the work, and contact you about the job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing to people who only asked for a quote.
Who else handles it
Enquiries are delivered to our inbox by a form-delivery service acting on our behalf, which stores the submission so it can pass it on. Beyond that, your details are seen by the people here who deal with your job.
Google Maps
The map showing our service area is embedded from Google. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and can set its own cookies, for its own purposes, whether or not you interact with the map. That is a disclosure to Google rather than something done on our behalf, and it is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
YouTube
Video sections on this site are hosted on YouTube. The still image on each video is loaded from Google as the page opens, which sends Google your IP address and the address of the page you are reading, whether or not you press play. Pressing play loads the player itself, and Google may then set cookies. That is a disclosure to Google rather than something done on our behalf, and it is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we may need them for the job and our records, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to mwglandscape@yahoo.ca and we will action it. Deleting an enquiry means we lose the record of the job, so we will confirm before doing it if work is still in progress.
